Breakfast that waits for you

Imagine arriving at 3 pm and still ordering a full breakfast. At Baru, that is normal: the whole menu is served all day, so breakfast is there whenever you feel like it.

The house opens at 7 am Monday to Saturday and at 8 am on Sundays. There is time for a relaxed coffee before the Falls, or to arrive with no rush after the tour.

What is on the table

The combos are the easiest way to start. The Croissant Combo brings scrambled eggs, bacon, mini croissant, Minas cheese, guava paste and turkey breast. The Parma Combo has scrambled eggs, Parma ham, toast, parmesan and sour cream.

For a classic, the Croque Madame Baru comes on Italian bread with smoked turkey breast or ham, cheese, poached egg and béchamel sauce. The American pancakes arrive with berries and maple syrup, or with eggs and bacon.

And there are the medialunas: chicken with cream cheese and lettuce, turkey breast with confit cherry tomatoes, or Nutella ganache.

To go with it

Espresso, cappuccino, filter coffee or one of the house’s signature teas. If you want something cold, the frozen drinks and fresh juices do the job.
